Philly Sound Studios was borne of a strategic partnership between Producer Drew Raison and Musician/Producer Mariano Mattei. The merging of Mattei's resources with Raison's unique business model has created a new level of production facility.
The addition of engineer Rich King, and his experience gained through years at Big Sky Audio, rounded out the team.
After a year of construction and acoustic modification, Philly Sound Studios opened with a bang. American Idol winner Kris Allen, contestant Jason Castro and composer/performer Joshua Radin graced the PSS stage the same week as pop-punkers All Time Low and We The Kings. These events and many more secured a top position in the hierarchy of Philadelphia recording studios.
Since then, Philly Sound Studios has hosted countless sessions and events to rave reviews. Our schedule has been graced with amazing clients and our control room has been piloted by many amazing engineers and producers.
